Magherafelt District Council had secured funding for two Gate Way features on two approach roads coming into Magherafelt. One will be located at the Pound Road junction of the Castledawson road coming into town and the other will be located on the Moneymore Road coming into town. The Council and the Chamber were involved in discussions on these two features and we are informed that Planning Permission for the Gateway Features has been approved and that council staff are working with Transport NI with regard to a few outstanding issues????
